Got my tickets too! We're in the pavilion. I'm driving up that day. Sorry, I'm not familiar with the area. Don't know where the Sheraton is.

"Fins to the Left" GREAT buffett tribute band.

Does anyone know if Blossom will be as strict as they used to be with the tailgaiting. I've actually been quite lucky in the picnic areas but heard a lot of bad stories about sobriety check points both on the way in AND out of the concert

We're coming from the Findlay area. I did make reservations at the hotel listed in the initial post of this thread. We'll probably do the $30 per peson pre-party thing that provides transportation to and from...a WHOLE lot cheaper than getting caught while driving after, ahem, a few cold ones! I'm not very familiar with the Cleveland area and have never been to Blossom. Sorry, I couldn't provide any tips.

Thats what I'm worried about. I live in the Cleveland area, but have never been to Jimmy's Blossom shows for that reason. Pittsburgh has always been a blast and I've never seen anyone have much pre-concert fun at Blossom before.

I went to Blossom two years ago to see Jimmy and had a great time. There seemed to be quite a bit of parking lot fun and adventure going on, along with alot of party action at the surrounding hotels. I'm coming down with two others and hope to get in on the hotel/preparty/shuttle to blossom deal. It's never too early to start the planning! C'mon Cleveland, Where Are Ya!

BLOSSOM!!!!!

I can't tell you how mant times I have been to Blossom, but it's not a bad tailgate spot. I used to follow around this band called The Grateful Dead and have been to most amphitheaters in the mid-west. Like all venues it's just a matter of respecting the powers that be, and co-operate with them. While the local sherriffs departmant has been know to have a bad reputation, I personally have never had any trouble with them, nor have I ever seen them act in a manner which was undeserving to the individual. In fact, I once bought a ticket outside of Blossom to see Bob Dylan. A deputy saw the deal go down and calmly walked over and asked what was happening. I told him I was buying this ticket for my girlfriend. He said that it was illegal and if the seller didn't want to go to jail, he had better not take any money for the ticket. The scalper had two choices, go to jail, or give me the ticket. He chose the later. Once inside I gave him face value for the ticket. i will warn you tha they don't like open flames there, and I'm not talking coral reefers. if they see a bbq or open fire, they will shut it down fast. All in all, Blossom is a lot of fun, and i have continued to go there happily for ten years now. FINS UP!!!!![/b]

I'm going! I'm going! Six of us are planning to go to the pre-party the NC ParrotHead Club is having at the Holiday Inn in Hudson. I have not been to a Buffett show in 4 years so am really looking foward to.

I have been to Blossom on numerous occassions and as long as you put your drinks in cups and don't draw attention to yourself doing something really dumb you are ok.

This is the first time I am trying the pre-party/shuttle bus so no one has to be the DD.

Has anyone received their tickets in the mail? I'm thinking it's taking longer than normal...and if they have been sent, I'm really hoping I didn't mistake the plain envelope TM uses for junk mail :o
