Alpine Parking Lots - Open earlier for DMB??

Just noticed on Alpine's website that the parking lots for the Dave Matthews Band show will open at 1:00, but they are saying 3:00 for Jimmy. Anyone know what's up with that?

DMB show starts at 6pm, so both lots open 5 hours prior to showtime.

Brian answered this sort of thing before . . . county ordinance prevents alping from opening any more than a certain number of hours before the show.

But those in the know, know that State law trumps county, and the public safety hazard of traffic backed up onto the interstate always forces the State Troopers to demand Alpine open up for Jimmy.
