Avatars
My 4 year old sat in my lap while I was scanning some threads and was really drawn to the cool graphics on the left. I explained that it was each person's way of expressing themselves with an image they identified with.
So why did you choose your particular Avatar? If it's a picture, where/when was it taken? Some of them are obvious, but I thought it might be interesting and help us get to know each other a little better.
Mine is a picture of my boat (Four Play) at the concert in Dallas last year.

I used another avatar for a long time, but I found this one a few weeks ago, and just had to use it! First off, it is a parrot, which shows my obsession of JB music. He's holding a fishing rod and fish, which represents my favorite hobby. I went snokeling last summer in the Bahamas, and fell in love with it, and he is obviously ready for that. And my favorite kind of footwear to put on is sandals and flip-flops, so this guy is right down my alley. The only other thing I would do to him is put a UT Vols shirt on him. Maybe I'll get around to that someday.

My avatar might make you think I have a drinking problem!!! But only when at a Buffett show....or on a sunny summer day....or when I'm in the boat... I guess I should just admit it, I am addicted to Margaritaville tequila & Mix... You guys won't judge me, will you?

Mine was a collaboration between Zanth and myself, with him doing all the actual image work. It's a take on the "Jesus Fish" you see on the backs of alot of cars. Not intentionally blasphemous, but if it pi$$es off a few people that take themselves too seriously I consider it an added bonus.
The shark, sans lettering, will soon be inked on my upper left arm with "ParrotHead" scrolled beneath it.

Your avatar is just wrong, as someone else said Spidey just shouldn't dance like that. But every time I see it I stop and watch with a stupid grin on my face for several minutes.meisinger wrote:Mine makes me laugh.
Thanks for the laugh. I know I am judging and I don't even have my avatar up yet, still deciding.
I've got coastal confessions and a few more, how about you?

My 4 year old is also fascinated with a lot of the avatars and graphics that people here use. She's always telling me to "go back, go back!!" if she sees something that catches her eye.
meisinger, she particularly got a kick out of your Spidey Man, it has sent her into fits of giggles on several occaisions!
I change my avatar from time to time to suit how I'm feeling. I usually use mermaids......but I found this island scene and fell in love with it. I want to be an island hopper when I grow older (not up).

Thanks for playing along y'all! I'll read this thread with Cameron (aka the 4 year old) this weekend. I don't think he's seen Spidey yet. I hope it doesn't scar him for life!
