Hmmmm.... we live about 45 minutes away, and I have off of work tomorrow. Why am I not driving now!?!?!?! Somebody talk me into dragging the hubby to the car! Our phriends say "we're too old to stay up all night", and that we'll be so far back in line now that we won't even see the stage.

You might not be in the front but at least you'll be there. I was really wanting to go but it's a long way from Texas for 3 or 4 songs.

BTW I FINALLY got the cd in the mail to yous guys this week, you should be getting it soon. Sorry for the delay but I guess better late than never.

Well, the Today Show was an amazing event. I am a little to beat to go into details not to mention I have to work today, but glad to meet (not meat) so many BNers and it was fun beyond belief

I got a ton of pix I will post over the weekend.

Zanth - Anything special happen to JMP?

DUDE!!!!!!

What an awesome first Buffett experience. It sucks that I didn't get to meet all you guys, but I got really lucky today. I got in line at about 7:30 in the morning, and I thought we were gonna get stuck all the way back by the Pokemon store, but they let about 20 people through and we were right behind the stage!!!!!! And we only had to wait about an hour which is awesome. I could probably see everybody, but I didn't know who was who.

Best part was when they went into "Twist & Shout" at that one point in "We Are the People". That was awesome.

I can't wait for Camden now, I'm psyched as ever.

OK, this really s**ks. I was in my office last night about 8:00 and a guy whose office is down the hall from me told me I should have asked a certain woman at the firm about getting into the VIP section for the Today Show. Apparently she's friends with a producer on the show. Unfortunately I don't know this woman and by time the guy told me last night it was too late anyway. This afternoon I went to a continuing education class and a woman who I don't know comes over to me and says "You were at the Jimmy Buffett concert this morning, weren't you? You should have told me you were going to be there, I get in to all the shows and you could have come with me." She was right by the door where the band came out of the building and Jimmy signed a CD for her.

I gotta ask you though,were you up close and maybe on camera? I saw a guy on the tape I recorded that looked like your picture.

Yeah, sorry for the delay. I wanted to post the pic and couldn't until I got home from work (which I left early, went 30+ hours without any real sleep until I passed out on the train ride home) Special Thanks to Dan and Rob from NBC for getting JMP into the Green Room for JB to sign, and of course the primate whose name shall not be spoken for being such a good caretaker. JMP is sleeping right now in my apartment.

All in all was an amazing time. One of my favorite observations was about Al Roker. I always liked him when I saw him on TV and when I met him in person at work he was very nice and down to earth. I looked over during CIP and he was bouncing up and down and singing the song word for word!!! I thought he was cool from before but now I am even more impressed!!!

Glad to have been able to hang out with so many of you, both old and new friends. Today Show has totally got me psyched for Camden and Nissan, more fun times just around the corner!!

and he was bouncing up and down and singing the song word for word!!! I thought he was cool from before but now I am even more impressed!!!

Now if he had been bouncing up and down and singing "We Are the People" word for word...

Of course... Katie can only sing the chorus on CIP, and usually flubs the ingredient list anyway..
