Jerry Jeff Cover Story in Texas Music Magazine

Post by Jahfin »

I came across a copy of this today and thought I'd pass along the info to all the other Jerry Jeff fans out there. This issue also features a hilarious photo shoot of fellow Texans ZZ Top at the barber shop.

Jerry Jeff Walker: A Man Must Carry On
At 62, "Scamp" Walker is ready to pass the torch of his wild and rowdy legacy on to a new generation of would-be gonzo Texas troubadours. But the gypsy-songman fire in his soul has never burned brighter. PLUS: Django Walker - Here Comes the Son: When Pat Green covered his song "Texas On My Mind" and turned it into a Texas radio and festival hit, Django Walker dropped out of college to get a jump-start on his own music career. But is he ready to carry on the family tradition?

Great story, great magazine. I've had a subscription for a couple years now, and there are always some gems in there.
Look I'm a little slow today, I just switched to Sanka, so have a heart.

At JJW's birthday party when Django and Scamp did a duet of Always trust Your Cape - Django switched hats with his dad. Kinda symbolic.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.
