The secret songs

Post by Ilph »

For anyone that was at the show last night, what were the two songs that RM wouldn't let the rest of us hear? I think one was Hey Good Looking and Steve said the other one was another one off the new album.

Coast of Carolina was the title. I was great and made me really anxious to get LTC. Sorry RM cut it and you missed it.

Man, I was disappointed when RM cut out for those two songs. I was really looking forward to hearing some new stuff. Do you guys think RM is going to cut out EVERY concert before the new CD comes out?

Do any fans actually record the shows on site or does everyone rely on Radio Margaritaville? My collection of Buffett bootlegs is admittedly small but every one of them also sound like they were recorded straight off of Radio Margaritaville too.

No offense intended but no wonder the shows I've heard sound so shitty.

Amen to that brother!

I've got some Phish and Dead bootlegs that sound superior to actual live releases from the major labels. There are people who tote thousands of dollars worth of equipment to those shows and it sounds like a thousand bucks, too!

I wish Buffett would open up to the "tapers" and let people do some serious recording.
