To me, this is really easy.... the single, solitary thing that Jimmy Buffett "owes" us is a good show when we buy a ticket to see him play.
He doesn't owe us a tailgating party; he doesn't owe us Great Woods.
Will I miss GW this year? Sure.
Do I begrudge Jimmy the opportunity to play in a historic venue? Not for an instant.
I hope we're back at GW next year, but I have to agree with Steve H.... we just have to get over it, for crying out loud!
If you think Fenway stinks as a venue, don't go!!

I can see both sides
I dont begrudge Jimmy at all playing Fenway he is probably going to have a blast.
Even taking the tailgaiting out of the equation, the tickets are DOUBLE the parking is horrendous and between 30 and 40.oo where it is free at GW and the venue stinks for concerts, the sound is bad the seats are bad.
I have seen him the last 10-15 years at great woods usually usually 2 shows but I wont go this year.
Will I miss it..HELL YA it is the 1 thing I look forward to with all my friends every summer.
