I've got front row center tickets for this coming Sunday night. Now, I'm aware of the poncho thing, but only have a vague idea of what to expect.
Anyone been to see them?
What is it that flies off the stage that requires the poncho?

Sure you don't have 'em mixed up with Gallagher? Or perhaps they heve joined forces.

Yes, he is. I even saw his brother (who just so happens to be the spitting image of his well known brother) Ron perform here a few years ago as "Gallagher II". He had Gallagher's act down so well and looked SO much like him that I immediately went home and looked up the "real" Gallagher on the internet, seems he was performing in Irvine, California that night...

I have a friend that saw Blue Man Group in concert not so long ago but I honestly don't remember him mentioning anything about having to attend their shows equipped with a poncho. Have you tried checking their web site or Allmusic.com for the lowdown on their live performances?

I have and they do issue ponchos to the first few rows and the web site mentions that you will get stuff on you.... On the tickets under section it even says "PONCHO". Maybe this is only at the one in New York, who knows. Ah well, I'll fill you all in next monday! (I'm sure you can barely contain your excitement!

You are going to be wet with colored goo that glows with the various lighting they use. You will have a blast.
