Good news: it looks like my brother and his girlfriend may be joining us all the way from Boston! It's not definite yet, but it's looking good!

We're slipping toward the bottom again!
It's not looking good for my brother to come to the concert.

Bummer. He says he may just come to Pittsburgh and hang out with Kyle and Dan. But I think he will end up at the concert if he does that!
Ro: I wish I could go back to Boston, my brother has been there since April and he is moving to Vermont next weekend. Flights from Akron to Boston are only $45 each way!

I may be asking a really dumb question, but I haven't been to a Buffett concert in quite a few years...since they apparently changed how long they let you tailgate. So I hear the parking lot opens at 4 but we may be arriving earlier than that. Are there any places close by that are having any pre-tailgating festivities?? We have a group of 14 that is ready to party!!

Last year, we got there at 1pm, and were far from the first ones in. They really have no other choice once traffic starts backing up.
Screwed on Tickets

Well my friend and I got screwed on tickets, she bought them on ebay and we ordered 5 tickets and only received three. He keeps screwing around with her, first he doesn't know who she is, then he says it's in the mail, then he doesn't have her address. He says he doesn't have any tickets, then he has one, and will send a check with the money for the other ticket-minus the three dollar delivery charge.......

Really makes for a frustrating time. So if anyone has extra tickets feel sorry for some true fans that got screwed out of two tickets and let me know. She has been trying to get the tickets for two months and I don't think she is going to get them.
Either way those of us that got tickets will have to have margaritta's for those left behind. Poor suckers.

Hey guys- I am going with another rep I work with and we are staying at the Westin in downtown Pitt.
I have a few questions- is anyone planning a bus or ANY transportation to/from the concert to/from downtown Pitt for that evening?
Also- what is the tailgating venue like for Pitt (never have been), and how good is the venue itself?
Would love to meet up with the rest of the BN'ers here.

We are traveling from East of Pgh, we rented a 15 passanger van. But if you go on the Post Gazzette Pavilion website, there is a bus schedule that will take you to and from the show that picks up in Station Square. We were considering this route until we found a brave soul to DD the van.

.
it is a gravel parking lot with some big rocks but that has never been a problem for me. I like the venue myself but then again I don't have anything to compare it too
