I missed Pittsburgh last year but 2 years ago we stayed at the Holiday Inn in Weirton, WV. Much quicker getting to and from the venue than 2001 when we stayed in Pittsburgh.

This is what happens when your father is essentially a hyperactive 5 year old boy trapped in the body of a 63-year old man. He's beginning to take on mythic proportions here in the Pittsburgh Parrothead community. He truly personifies "Growing Older But Not Up".

I love him.

Well, who wouldn't love this man? (By the way, Craiger's Dad is on the left for those who didn't get to meat, I mean meet him)

oh my gosh! i have a picture of those guys! they were walking by us and i asked if i could take their picture - they were really cool about it! i even made my husband stand between them. my husband's expression in the photo is truly worth a thousand words!

OH ya, that's still very close and I'm sure much cheaper.

I'm staying in WV...but that's where I live

From left to right, it's my father, my mother, my mom's friend Jeannie, and my friend Vanessa

Those are good shots! The tailgates are just one big photo op, aren't they? Pretty soon they'll have red carpets, paparazzi and Joan Rivers...

Hey...cool shot !!!! If you look to the right towards the back....there's a white box truck. That was the ICE MAN....remember the one who had the mugs carved out of ice? Look just a little to the left of the truck now...see the white and kinda grey blob sticking up? Thats my stuffed shark stickin his head outta my blazer's sunroof.

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know that I received my tickets from NEXT Tix yesterday! Now I really feel that it's official. I also got parking in VIP lot. Can't wait to see you all there.

Why haven't I gotten my tickets yet??? I'm starting to get nervous, especially since I am moving! I'm nervous about a lot of things these days though...like becoming a mom!

Got my TM tix about 2 weeks ago. The next tix ones finally came yesterday. Guess it's time to start figuring out a few new flavors for this years jello-shooters.

Any suggestions? Last years batch included bahama mama's-- lime---grape (featuring grape pucker..mmmmm) --strawberry--- and apple (featuring apple pucker). I know there were a few more....but it's all hazy now.

Lookin forward to "slurpin a few" with all you guys.

Flavors we used --Cosmo's (cranberry & vodka) Rita's (lime & tequila) Pina Colada's (pineapple & something coconut-rum maybe?) Tequila Sunrise (orange & tequila) Lemon Drops. I think we use vodka in these, but it gets hazy after a while cause of course we had to taste them to make sure they were ok. I know we made more with rum, but can't remember. Can't wait to share!

The ones I made last year were tequlia and triple sec mixed with lime jello. I think they went over pretty well.
