IS THIS A SCAM??????

Someone pulled my phone number off of the ticket exchange and this past Saturdy morning I got a phone call concerning tickets. Again, it was Saturday morning at 8:30am so I was a little hungover and groggy. Anyway, this person claimed to have media passes and tickets for sale for Blossom in Cleveland. He claimed to do PR for Buffet concerts for radio staions. I have yet to send out any money to this person, as I am just a little concerned of this being a scam. Lawn tix (my request0 and media passes went for $150/for both. Has anyone else ever been approached with anything similar? Does anyone have any ideas about how I might check the authenticity of this person?-Ray

There is another thread on here somewhere reporting this to be a scam.

I have the guys number, it's...(305)604-9489. I have called it a couple times, but just get a fax or computer. He said i could have a lwan ticket and media pass foe $150. If anyone knows how to contact Jimmy's management, please lets' nail this f**ker. He's dragging the good name of Jimmy through the mud, and scamming innocent parrotheads! Please help!!

BUYERS BEWARE OF A MAN BY THE NAME OF ROBERT GLASS SUPPOSEDLY FROM MIAMI FLORIDA SELLING TICKETS AND BACKSTAGE PASSES....REALLY BAD NEWS!!!!!!

I GOT THE SAME CALL TOO ON SATURDAY MORNING AND ALMOST FORKED OVER $700.00....NOTHING EVER CAME BY FED EX AND NOW THERE IS NO ANSWER AT HIS TELEPHONE NUMBER. This number (305-538-8473) leads to an answering machine saying it's the office of "Cyber (or something like that) Consulting". Strange... very strange...

ok
i really should have payed attention to my gut reaction
"if it seems too good....."
but i really wanted those tickets.
i posted on the site for tickets and left name and phone # contact.
{hindsite is 20/20] this guy was too anxious too sell, he called 6-8 times before he actually spoke with me.
offered backstage passes @ 100. each and 4th row tickets @ 140 each in camden.
i bit he walked me through the process at western union
seemed to be a real friendly guy
[sure, wouldn't you be if someone was western unioning you cash]
he gave me a fed ex tracking #
and told me his address and personal phone # [sure it was]
anyhow, when fed ex failed to show up
and the tracking # was not in their system i decided to do some research
[better late than never]

calls and says he does work for buffett and gets paid in tickets that he can resell.

PHONE # 3055388473, 3054744744, AND AT LEAST I CALL FROM 9728892852.

i feel a little better now
i will chalk this one up to lessons learned
please if anyone knows of anyone looking for tickets
let em know that this is one concert wher the sellers
don't come to the buyers.
