Now ..... Lets dream a little. Make believe he is going to play labor day at the Tweeter Center. Lets see what it looks like with a Tweeter background.

http://www.tweetercenter.com/boston/det ... _id=202110

Looks like he is more expensive on Long Island ($95) than at Fenway Park ($84).

OK, somebody here explain this to me - please!

First, the Jones Beach JB concert on Sept 4 is still not listed at tommyhilfigerjonesbeach.com, ticketmaster.com or margaritaville.com.
I do believe it's going to take place, but where did you find this confirmation?

Second, assuming the Jones Beach URL is legit, and you just have inside info on what the event id is, even though it's not listed on the schedule, how did you make that same listing - Sept 4 date and all - appear as the "dream" concert listing on Tweeter/Great Woods' URL?

Would you or some other computer savvy BNer explain to me? Please?!

For each venue, there is a link. Such as below. The event ID# 202110 is the actual event. The venue puts on the website, the link, and adds the venue ID# once it is announced.

http://www.tommyhilfigerjonesbeach.com/ ... tID=202110

All I do each night is change the ID # by increasing the 6 digit ID # by one to see what events clear channel is adding. It may be in a different venue, but you get first knowledge of what shows are coming before they show up on the venues site. I usually use the tweeter center as it tells me the venue location.

Works every time. Pittsburg was 201938

At least there is still the opportunity for a show ON Labor Day! That leaves the Wednesday (9/8) for another date at GW or Fenway!

Suggestions for hotels near Jones Beach

Post by skiboutins »

Since GW is still not a lock, my wife and I are planning to bring our son on a road trip to Jones Beach to experience the famous and oft discussed JB tailgating in person.

Any suggestions for hotels/motels/campgrounds in the JB area?

Else, anyone on LI have a large backyard?

Thanks for any help.

jones beach tickets

Be aware the box office at Jones Beach is closed on Mondays. Looks as though Ticketmaster is the only way to get them.
