Pop-up campers in Columbus parking lot?

Post by macavada »

Does anyone know the parking allowances for the Columbus show?
Will we be able to stake our claim?...or will security staff pack us in with 2 feet between our cars? A group of us are traveling from central PA with two pop-up campers and a VW Vanagon. Will Campers be permitted, or will we need to drop them off. I noticed that the Columbus Expo has a camping facility about a mile away from the venue. I'd much rather bring the camper and it's portopotty for our wive's. The lines for them get too long.

You might want to check if camping is available at the Columbus Expo for the weekend of 5/22. I know you can take campers in during events (state fair, horse shows, etc.), but for a random weekend, I'm not sure.

No idea what security will allow in the parking lot - I have read they are not allowing overnight parking/camping. For that one, I'd try calling the venue.

I hope you get to bring all your goodies and have a great time in the lot!!
