JB's Calaloo

Post by BoozeInTheBlender »

I would consider myself a informed Parrothead, but have never seen the Calaloo album before. I purchased it today at Borders Books. It has the following
1. Kinja (live)
2. Cheeseburger in Paradise
3. Stories from my Favorite Books
4. Island Fever
5. Cairo (live)
6. Come Monday

Does anyone else have this?

That has a great version of "Kinja" on it....
I'm surprised you got it at Borders...It was a Best Buy exclusive (for a limited time only). You can only get them nowadays on Half.com or ebay.com.........and they usually go for about 10 bucks.

Congrats on finding a copy!!! :D

I bought it when it was on sale at Best Buy. FANTASTIC versions of Kinja and Cairo.
I really didn't need ANOTHER C.D. with Cheeseburger In Paradise, but with those songs not available anywhere else, I'm not complaining.

The Speedo Man needs a copy of this, the Prince Of Bluberness does not have a copy and needs one really bad.Where in the World can old Bobby Boy here pick one up.
The Speedo Man is 43 years old, 100 ibs overweight, suffers from male pattern baldness, old Bobby boy here cannot get a date if his life depended on it, and the Prince Of Bluberness still lives with his parents.

Calaloo EP

Post by JustDucky »

I see it all the time at Magic Bus in New Orleans - still in the rapper! The beauty of it is Island Fever - one of his best tunes in eons. Cheeseburger again? Give me a break! What compilation is it not on?

If ya don't wanna pick up Don't Stop The Carnival - which I wasn't so sure about at first when it came out but it has since grown on me - then get Calaloo, at least for the live version of Cairo and...Island Fever.
