According to Musictap.net: RCA Nashville has pencilled in a Jimmy Buffett title, "License to Chill", in digipak form and scheduled for July 13.

Digipak is the non-jewel case way of packaging a CD. You've probably seen them before; Tuesdays, Thursday, Saturdays was Digipak.

I hope that all the greedy bastards in the world
Come back as lobsters.
You know that life at the bottom of the food chain
Suits them well.
I think that all of the evil people of the world
Come back as horseflies,
They want one last bite before they're sent to hell.

I've actually bought the darn album three times (glad its among my favorites). First on CD in digipak - wore it out, no joke. It was the first CD I bought when I moved to Columbus. I remember that only because it was released the day I moved here. Bought the cassette to leave in my grandparents car when my wife and I go home to visit them and need to borrow one of their cars (gotta have Buffett, although now my 80-year-old grandmother enjoys the tunes, too). Finallly, I downloaded it from iTunes as a replacement for the physical CD.

My girlfiend's birthday is on the 14th, too! Let's see if I can get away with buying this for her and nothing else....

BTW, I have TTS in a jewel case, too.

I'm not really a big fan of digipak. I prefer jewel cases. Well, actually, I prefer putting them in my cd case, or burning as MP3 cds, but thats another story :D

(I'll take 2 or more Buffett CDs, convert them to mp3s and then burn them, fyi. :) )
