We're staying at the Holiday Inn in Westville.... 6.8 miles from the venue.

Leave early to get to the beach. Old Country Rd. is a very heavily traveled road, lots of shopping in the area and traffic is usually pretty bad on the weekend.nhbeast wrote:We're staying at the Holiday Inn in Westville.... 6.8 miles from the venue.

Re: Hotels
We opted for the Marriott up by the coliseum. It's a few miles further away (10-12 from the venue, I think) than we've stayed before...but it has a couple of bars downstairs, and that's always good for "post-show."MA_Buffett_Fan23 wrote:Congrates to all of you who were able to get Jones beach tickets... sorry to the rest... Hey Lawn Guyland people, would it be better to take the Meadowbrook or the Wantagh from the Coliseum?
I know the Meadowbrook is more direct, but I've heard the Wantagh is less crowded.
It looks like we could shoot across either the Southern State (or up to and across the Hempstead tpke) and then down the Wantagh...is that worth it?
Thanks
