My sources are very reliable and haven't been wrong yet although I guess there could always be a first time. Please don't ask me to tell you where I get the info from in such a public forum...it's not fair to them and it will prevent me from ever getting any more information. You can choose to believe it, or not.

No. Sorry. Not our "local" area.SuperTrooper wrote:(Pssst. You should have come down to Va. Beach on Sunday. We had a blast! He likes the Philly area - - I think he played there after our Feb. show here. No, actually it was the Philly club but the venue was in Trenton I think. All you need to do is look on his website schedule, find a date that he's going to be "passing thru", get a venue, e-mail JM and ask. They usually try to fill in dates if it's along the way. There's a whole week between their July 4th shows in the DC area and a couple of shows in Maryland July 10th and 11th. They also have a date Aug 14th in Maryland and then they gig in Michigan Aug. 19 - - you may be able to book the 13th or the 15th. Just take it upon yourself to have your own show. There are enough Bocanut fans up there to make it a success.PA PAR8 HED wrote:I'm with you on that one. I also wish he'd play the Philly area more often! I couldn't make Lewes, but it looks like I'll have to drive (or fly) to see him this summer2fla wrote:Thanks! My wife thinks I'm crazy enough to travel to see JB, if I start traveling to see JM too, she'll never see me
We did go to the Trenton Show on Feb 29th. We met some people from the DC PHC there - I thing "Captain Tony" was with that club (sorry to hear of his passing).
Good idea to try to fill in some of those open dates in early July. I'll keep you posted.

I'm sure the lots for Camden Yards will be open, but I thing the bars in the Inner Harbor and Fells Point will be rockin' with Parrot Heads.!mr. twain wrote:If Buffett does come to Baltimore (and let us all pray he does) what are people going to do about tailgating??
2fla - nothing on JM's schedule for that day, can we book him for Baltimore?

Well, on the off chance that this actually does happen, I just booked the LAST available room at the Days Inn. I figure it's easy enough to cancel a hotel reservation if the need arises. If anyone else is interested in local hotels, visit this website:
http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/NASApp ... alinfo.jsp
It's part of the Baltimore Oriole's website. It shows local attractions, including hotels which are withing WALKING distance of the ballpark.
BE AWARE: I've checked them all out. They don't come cheap. Expect to pay $200.00 a night. But it's almost worth it to not have to drive at all. A fee for parking is also required at some of them.
If you've never been to the Baltimore Inner Harbor Area, and can possibly swing it, try to spend an extra day so you go through the National Aquarium (it's AWESOME) and see all the other cool things the area has to offer.
Let's keep our phins crossed, pholks!
