So now we're marrying people off. I'll throw my hat in the ring. 29 y/o single guy from NY. Can't beat female Parrotheads. Even though I'm a big Yankee fan, I've made relationships with Red Sox fans work so it can be done. lol

Hoosier PH can vouch for that (after all, I let the guy wear my panties on his hat in Columbus...) Or maybe Cartmill, although I kissed a girl and flashed for his video, so that might make him biased....

I think the ushers should lead people in on the people who are fun and stand and people who aren't and don't (they get shown back to the parking lot), then by KC fans or nonKC fans to avoid fighting. They will be lei'ing people.

Captain Morgan, Corona and Don Julio will be handling the catering.

Coconuts... If you talk with Hoosier PH can you have him get in touch with Christina. Thanks!! :D

Have you no shame. He is the enemy from the  EVIL EMPIRE  . I bet he cheered for them when Boone hit that home run.

Yes that is indeed a pic of Boone's HR. I only did it in response to the many anti-Yankee graphics. It's all good though. I respect anyone for being devoted whether I completely disagree or not. I am a psycho fan though but that's what makes the rivalry great. To answer your question, I live on Long Island but work in Mid-Town manhattan. Where in Mass are you?

I can't answer that one, hell, I could barely tell you where I was!! (Were you at Columbus? We tried to get into the party at the HIFOP, but they wouldn't let us park- as we were trying to park there, I had Hoosier PH on the phone and he had a space next to their car, so we ended up in the lot by the M'Ville Shrimp bus. I still have a tan line from my shrimp tattoo.)

No, not exclusively. I can't drink tequila anymore anyway, so I'm pretty open to suggestions on that.

And MA, stick with Mike, at least you won't have to fight about baseball that way!

Yes, I was in CMH... I was actually forced to take pictures of the Limbo contest at the HIFOP... arduous duty that... :D I stuck pretty close to the Lane Avenue venues, as much because I had stuff to do with the local club as shepherding a few very novice "virgins" thru the pre and post-game events. (and it did not feel right leaving my folks in the care of fellow 'boarders while I went off in search of the "nearly-naked slip'n'slide booth" and other diversions. That is what a visit to Alpine is.. :D)

As for the tequila, I am just discovering the joys of "premium agave products", and enjoying the sipping of "oily, peppery goodness" that that entails. Is it any hard liquor on the list of "probably permanently given up for Lent" items, or just tequila? (and why do I sense there could be a story here.)

Yeah I know Marlborough pretty well. I used to date a girl from there years ago. Funny thing is I've never been to Boston itself. I've been to tons of suburbs and Amherst like once a month when I was in college ( another ex went to UMass). The hotel I work for has a sister property in Boston so I guess I have to go sometime soon.

I missed a nearly naked slip n slide booth?!! That sucks!!!

And about 2 years ago, I noticed that every time I drank tequila I cried- sometimes it was "You guys are such great friends...waaaa!!!" and other times it was just plain bawling. So I gave it up. (And that happened with both crappy and good tequila).

Coconuts.. I e-mailed Hoosier last night... I know him from when I lived in Indy.. You guys should make a road trip and come out here for one of the Fenway shows.. Free place to stay... :D :D

I don't know if anyone was enterprising enough to set one up in the lot in CMH. If a buddy of mine didn't sense it within 2 miles of the venue, it probably didn't happen. (Note to self: be amused if he shows up at Alpine with large roll of $1s again like last year).

So... tequila and crying jags.. bad. How about other liquors (besides rum?)

You'll definitely need to make a trip to Boston.. I'd suggest going to a ballgame if you get the chance... Good ol' UMASS, spent lots of time there.... What do you do at the hotel?

I didn't meet him until Chicago of last year (Well, I should qualify that - we didn't remember meeting until Chicago)!

And that's severly tempting, but I don't have the time off to do it (going to Europe in October, so I'm juggling things to have enough vacation time as is). But I do love Boston.

Ringling- I usually just stick to rum, Pucker or maybe vodka. I don't like gin (it tastes like a pine tree). I can predict how I'll behave and how much I can drink before I don't feel good with rum or pucker, so I usually just stick with that. And the only time I've had whiskey I've gotten sick (but it was mixed with sushi, saki and Cuervo, and was homemade whiskey smuggled from Ireland- but it still scares me).

Poteen isn't that bad... I have a bottle of 12 year old Red Breast that is pretty smooth, although not as smooth as the Jameson's Gold. :) but, you are braver than I; I would never mix Cuervo and sake, much less add whiskey to the mix. I have to admit to having no clue as to what Pucker is, tho.

Gin... bad. Bad... very bad...

But.. note to self: remember to find good rum, pineapple juice, (and tequila for some friends) on way out to the venue Saturday morning just in case. Wondering if there is a liquor store near the KK outlet on the West Side. Hmmm.. Mapquest and Switchboard.. my new friends :D

Well, I made the mistake of telling my coworker (in Boston, btw) that I could match him drink for drink, which was bad, and saying that I never get sick, which was worse. So I totally challenged someone who weighs like 75 pounds more than me and had been drinking whiskey since he was 12 to a drinking match. I learned my lesson (and I didn't find out until afterwards that he'd been drinking since he was 12). So it wasn't so much bravery as just pure stupid.

Pucker is schnapps.
