Put In Bay?

Seems my husband will be making me a Phish widow this summer. They announced their retirement.

So that leaves me available for "girls" trips First trip is to NYC to see my sister and catch Jimmy at the Today show.

The second trip, I'm thinkin Put in Bay. But I know NOTHING about the Bay.

ENLIGHTEN me please!!!!

Put in Bay is a quaint little drinking island with a fishing problem. Many bars, stores, a winery, caves and many other fun things. Home of the world's longest bar and Pat Dailey. Most hotels are booked a year in advance for weekends. Hotels on the mainland are only a ferry ride away. There are plenty of cabins to rent, B&B's and a campground. If you need info on anything, pm me.

Phlocking of the Phaithful is June 10-13 on the island.

PIB is great for a women's weekend. I just got back from one myself a few weeks ago. Although I must admit, I really didn't do much touring, but I did a lot of drinking and mingling with the tourists while doing so. There are 4 main bars in the main block. For the most part everything is in walking distance, but you can rent a golf cart if need be. If you have any questions shakerofsalt can't answer, try to PM me.

Also I will be in NYC for the Today show, hope to see ya there.
