I know we are all anxious to get the show, but what's the deal? I've checked some of the other trees and they seem to be going much better than this one. The original copy was received by the first person on the list on 5/29 and here it is, almost two months later and we're only on #5? What gives? Anyone out there willing to sacrifice a cd and pick up with the next person the list?

I THINK KEVIN STILL HAS IT. I HAVE TO SEND HIM THE BOARDING HOUSE CD AND I DONT THINK HE IS GETTING HIS EMAILS, BECAUSE HE WAS ONLINE LAST NIGHT.

Heard bout all the commotion ... Send the thing out to some guy in ATL from the road the weekend of Alpine ... like 2 weeks ago --- sent it from either Indiana or Illinois ... some little PO drop box ... should have been 1.06 in postage so I just put the appropriate number of stamps on it to cover it --- do I need to make a new master off my copy and send ANOTHER copy????

And if so ... send another to the guy below me or to the guy after him???

Oh K... I'm taking it upon myself to send out ANOTHER copy to the guy in ATL ... if he's already received it then sell it to a friend or chunk it ... either way --- If this one doesn't make it to him I dont know what to do

Why not email him and ask him if he got it or wants it? Then if you don't hear from him, skip to the next person on the list?

Just got an email from Dalton, and he has not received the ALT CD from Kevin, and is anxiously awaiting for it.

Hey Kevin, you should email Dalton to double check his address before mailing it again:

Dalton has emailed you with no response. Perhaps that is when you were on the road?

I still haven't gotten the CD.

And just as an update as what seems to be happening...

I know number 2 had a couple of week hangup as she was out of town or something similar.

Then me and Kevin swapped info, (AFAIK he recieved MY address), and he sent it out to me from Alpine.

It must have just gotten lost in the mail or never made it or something.
I haven't seen the CD yet, and have been in contact with a few people in this thread privately...:shrugs:

So maybe if Kevin just sends out another then I can get it and have it out the next day.

As far as I know, everyone is pretty much doing their part...its just taking f...o...r...e...v...e...r. (Say it like in "The Sandlot").

Fins up! Maybe its just taking so long 'cause its like wine - it gets better with time????

Heres a PUBLIC UPDATE

I sent out a new "master copy" on Friday Morning (July 23rd) -- it was metered to insure proper postage (No Excuses) and was placed in the hands of an ACTUAL POSTAL EMPLOYEE

So if Dalton did not receive THIS copy by Saturday --- he should get it by tomorrow I would assume which is Monday

I got the CD in the mail yesterday. It was the second one that he sent - the first one must be lost somewhere.
I have made my copy and am ready to send it out.

Here's what I am thinking - that may help this process a little more.
I will make another master copy and send it out to the next two people (#6 and #7). Then those two can be responsible to sending it to the even and odd number folks from there - and so it goes. (6-->8-->10)...(7-->9-->11)...
The only way that this is gonna work without confusion is if you each take responsibility and tell the next person in line who to send it to. Kind of a reminder to them...let them know what is going on.

Everyone should be willing to participate this way, it can only be better for everyone.

That would maybe speed it up a little.
As soon as I hear back from the Mindy, I'll send it out to her, and I am also gonna go ahead and send one out to Sheree too, she deserves it...she helped me keep in contact with Kevin and such.

The e-mail sit in my Outbox for a little too long this morning, so I did some checking.

The e-mail address Mindy posted I believe had a typo in it..."@sbcglbobal.net. So I changed it to sbcglobal.net and it send. Mindy and Sheree - check your e-mail. There is also a special message on the e-mail that should run on every e-mail from here on out, regarding how to do this even/odd thing.

OK, here's the deal...
Mindy #6 and Mike #8 aren't answering any e-mails or PM's, so I am working out what to do with the only next person in line I have had contact with, Sheree #7. (BahamaBreeze).

I don't know how its supposed to move if everyone is expected to wait for a week on an address to mail to.
