Does this building look familiar to anyone?

It's not what's outside that counts - it's what's inside. The facade of a building has very little impact on the recording process.

YUP, That's the studio (according to the M-Ville tour) Once saw someone I could have sworn was Bubba himself step outside that very door, but I dismissed it to the rum -n- sun! (plus by the time I asked my friends if the saw it too he was gone!) :pirate:

I bet if it was all dried and petrified, you could put it in a rock tumbler, and polish it that way! :o

That building has character!! And besides, if it had flashing neon lights saying Shrimpboat Sound, it would be near impossible to get any work done there - there would be too many onlookers.

I for one feel special knowing what to look for thanks to BuffettNews.com... but I will respect it's anonymity and try not to abuse the privileged information shared with us.

SBS next to Conch Republic

Post by Mango Picker »

Saw it in July last yr. Went on a cruise last yr, 1st stop in KW. Walked for hours and just "somehow" ended up at Conch Repulic for dinner, unbeknownst to my wife.... and went over and checked the place out. Sadly SBS was closed up.

If you google Shrimp Boat Sound, you will probably find enough to learn more, as I did...

It is in a nice old area of KW... about as far off the tourist beat as you will find.

It ain't easy to find... if you don't know where to look. It is hidden in plain sight...

Hey you can join our brand-spanking-new club here in northwest Tennessee...the Last Mango in Paris Parrothead Club! Don't worry that you're too far away, Desdamona (from Florida) joined the club and made it to the first "official" meeting. Of course, our president IS one of her best friends!!! :P tapping my foot, drumming my fingers waiting for monkeyboy to comment on the 'spanking' reference
