that is awesome. I have been close a few times and missed him by a few hours. I've met a few of the Coral Reefers but not the man himself. Congratulations!

Congratulations! Hey....did you notice.....I shook Jimmy's hand at Great Woods a couple of years ago, and found it to be pretty baby-soft. What did you think?

Just the way you would want it to happen. I've been there many times but no luck in seeing JB, glad it happened for you. That is what you call making a memory.

OH. MY. GOSH!. Got any numbers for me to play the lotto with? You said he was there for a short time, to do publicity photos.....wonder if he flew in or boated in? I think I'd die, after I had blubbered and stuttered a while! Notice the green color. I still say they need a green-with-envy emoticon smiley face on here. :)

Too cool! (Nice photos too, by the way!)

We're planning on visiting Margaritaville Orlando in a couple of weeks. I don't suppose I could borrow some of your good luck now, could I?

It felt like a pretty good handshake! I shook his hand out on the back deck, and again outside in front! I was just trying to maintain my composure! LOL!

Congrats A1APHAN! We were in Navarre, FL all last week (right between Pensacola and Destin). We went out of our way to stop by LuLu's for lunch (Saturday, May 22) because I'd heard great things about it but had never been there. Best freakin' cheeseburger I ever had! We all had a great time and I must say, I wasn't disappointed at all...that is until my wife asked the hostess on the way out if Jimmy stopped by often and she said, "well he was here for lunch LAST SATURDAY!" Missed him by one week.

I'm sure you'll never forget it. Congrats again on your great timing! :pirate:

Yes

Yes
I told him that I have been a fan since before the Parrothead movement started, (I bought my first album in 1978), and I gave him our club card and said we were going to see him in Columbus, Ohio. He asked me if it was indoors or outdoors, and I said indoors. I told him thank-you, then Lulu and Ramos got him moving towards their vehicle. It was a GREAT experience!
