I caught parts of that show last night! AWESOME to see Jerry Lee Lewis (who actually looks pretty good). Bitchin' to see Keith Richards, Merle Haggard, Jerry Lee Lewis and ole brother Willie playing the blues! I hope they repeat this! :D Keith Richards looked better than I've seen him in a while too....you could actually understand what he said.

The show was great! I watched it and half of it again on the replay! Speaking of Willie's carpal tunnel, Reba McEntire had a great joke last week at the ACMs "Willie Nelson is here and no one really knew if he'd be able to play tonight due to his carpal tunnel. Which is weird, because I've never known Willie to have a problem with his joints."

And didn't he make Willie look especially good?

I never knew Willie could do jazz too! I hope he lives forever.

Oh, Des! It's not jazz, but you have to listen to Stardust...awesome album.

I'm not sure what song you're referring to but I'd say I heard some jazz last night myself. I was thinking as I watched that Willie has to have one of the broadest musical palettes I'm aware of in popular music; he does everything from old jazz standards to gospel to rock and reggae and does it well. A few years ago he recorded a reggae album using Bob Marley's Wailers as his back up band but for some reason it got put on the backburner. I do hope it gets released one of these days.
