Cozumel!!

Post by Bob Roberts »

Also on my cruise is a day in Cozumel! We will be there Wednesday June 30th 12:00pm-10:00pm. My plans now are to do some snorkeling during the day, and maybe some partying in town at night before 10:00. I haven't decided if I'm going to do a ship-sponsored snorkel excursion, or if I will find one on land. Any suggestions? Also, where are the must see places in town? I will have to find somewhere for dinner that is a must-see, and then go to a bar or club or something at night. Please help out!

Try Deep Blue forsnorkeling. 8) I've used them for scuba diving on four visits to the island.

Carlos 'n Charlie's (north of downtown) is on the must see list for most turistas. There are a number of watering holes facing the beautiful sunsets over the water. You should be able to get your fill of adult beverages before returning to the boat.

Hey Elrod, Deep Blue looks really good. I'm gonna try to talk my friends into doing that one, so we can all go together. It's only $45 for 3 hours, so the price is competitive with the cruise ship. Do I need to call and make reservations, or can we just show up for the excursions? Also, how far is it from our port and how do we get there from the port?

Are there any good public beaches close to the ports that we could hang out at for a couple of hours before dinner?

Where are the best places to eat dinner at in the downtown area?

Where are the best places to shop and party at night in downtown?
