What's your favorite movie?

Post by Caribbean Soul Man »

Since most of us seem to be a little sick and twisted in a lovable sort of way, :-? I thought I'd throw this out there and see what some of your favorite movies were. I love all types of films so I figured I might get some interesting suggestions. I'll kick it off with a few of my personal favorites in no particular order:

Dr. Strangelove
Blazing Saddles
Caddy Shack
Office Space
Animal House
8)
you can't lay on the beach and drink rum all day if you don't start in the morning 8)

Well....if you've ever read Fear and Loathing...this movie sticks REALLY well to the book. It's one of those movies that some people just don't get unless they've taken a decent amount of booze and drugs at some point. It's really whacked, and I think that Johnny Depp did an excellent job of playing Hunter Thompson.

Labyrinth was my son's all time favorite movie for years. David Bowie is a sufficiently creepy/sexy Goblin King. The chick who won an Academy Award for A Beautiful Mind (Jennifer Connelly) is the main character - I think Labyrinth is what got her noticed. GREAT muppet creatures in this one, and the soundtrack is pretty good too.

Tiki - you gotta watch 'em!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine and a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, leaughers...Also a quart of tequilla, a quart of rum, a case of budweiser, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls...
