Re: cinnamon bay camping
The wife and I go to St. John twice a year. Cinnamon Bay is incredible. The cabins are right off the bay, within 100 yards depending on which one you get. It basicly a place to sleep. Showers and restrooms are readily available. Snorkeling in the bay and the Restaurant there are excellent.bixxx wrote:we are off on a windjammer next jan out of st thomas we are thinking of going down early and spending a few days at the cinnamon bay campground in st johns anyone stayed here? we were thinking of going for the cabins
We make it a point to snorkel there every time we go. In the evening you will probably see turtles within 150 yards off the shore.
The only suggestion I can make is bring LOTS of bug repelent. We go there ususally withing the first two weeks or April and then again around October. The no-seem-ums can be a pain. Need more info on what to do, PM me.
Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.
