Flip Flops

Post by PARROT HEAD MIKE »

There was a thread a while ago about feet and shoes or no shoes. I hate shoes, I wear flip flops all the time and just got 2 new pairs of the best flip flops I have ever worn, Tommy Bahama's heres the link where you can check them out.

Those are good looking flip flops. Are they pricey and where did you get them?
And all across the harbour
Night lights shinin' in
It looks just like stars on the water

There's no hotter outfit than a man in pants with flip flops.

Has anyone else found the light up flip flops at Wal-Mart? They are so much fun (but they're totally the kind that blow out rather than nice ones).

There's no such thing as good looking flip flops. And that annoying slappy sound they make when you walk drives me up the wall. We have a business casual dress code at the firm and somehow women get away with wearing flip flops. I dread the invasion of slappy shoes during the summer.

I agree 100% Plus, I can't stand to have anything in between my toes :o . I love sandals, just not flip-flops.

I can't see how Parrotheads are against flip flops. I used to not like the thingy between my toes, but I got used to them in no time. I wear my black Reef flip flops all the time! Jimmy wears the same ones.

I have 12 pairs of flipflops. In every color but purple. I'm known in my town for all my flipflops.....I even convert people! Now they're wearing rhinestoned and beaded ones at prom here!!! If I could wear them in the winter, I would! Shoes s**, it's just that simple. Here's a bonus: your feet can't stink if you don't wear shoes (unless you step in doggie-doo, of course)! :o

Coco, my buddy, my pal. I had nothing to do with the blown out flip flops. You know I would never do anything like that. At least not to you.

And maybe I should clarify my earlier post. I don't think flip flops are appropriate for work, even with a business casual dress code. Men at the firm have to wear real shoes, not sneakers, not sandals. I don't see why women should be allowed to wear flip flops. And I don't have to be able to hear someone walking down the hall 5 minutes before I can see them.

I know, but I had to tease you about it (they were tall, I fell off a lot and weakened the straps- a few more slips off in the gravel did them in  )!

I always wear flip flops. Everyone knows it too. I have had the same pair of leather Rainbows for 4 years and they are as comfortable as ever. It is time to get a new pair since they are wearing through on ther bottoms. I will hng them on my wall with my first pair that lasted me 3, they are just like a good friend. People think i'm nuts to spend $50 bucks on flops, but if you get 4 years of constant wear out of them..I think of it as an investment in my well being :pirate:

I've never been a flip flop guy, but I broke down last week and bought some cheapies from Wal Mart. The lady talked me into five dollar leathers. Little more than I wanted to spend but oh well. But I kind of like them. It's all about comfort and lack of effort to put on and remove them.

I like sandals, not flip-flops. I can't stand that piece that goes between your toes. :-?

I couldn't agree more, they are worth every penny. The Tommy Bahama's I just got are great, the best ever. I also have a couple pair of leather Abercrombie's that last quite a long time.

You can't beat "Rainbows". My favorite pair are going on 7 years. "Reefs" aren't bad but the "Rainbows" are best. I've got a bunch of others but they're just OK in comparison. As always, G.M., Jr.
