About The Album: Semi-True Stories is the current project from singer/songwriter veteran, Mac McAnally. The album contains ten songs influenced by rock, jazz, country, and gospel featuring Nashville's A session players and members of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band. All songs are written or co-written by McAnally and two of which (Semi-True Stories and Last Man Standing) have been previously recorded by Buffett himself. Mac and Jimmy have been friends and co-workers since the 80's so it seems fitting that this release comes out on Buffett owned Mailboat Records.

Just ordered it! If you go to mailboats web site they are playing Semi true story and last man standing. Seen him do both live, its great to see them on an album. I like Macs version of semi true story!

The Demo is amazing. Folks, do yourself a favor and buy this album. It is INCREDIBLE. I was blown away by it!

I'm looking forward to it, and I wish him the best of luck on this release, but I must say that the timing seems a bit odd, only a few weeks before Jimmy's new album. It seems likely to be swallowed up by the License to Chill storm surge.

I ordered my copy a few weeks ago and i got it today, along with a special gift of the Hey Good lookin' promotional single.

I tried to order it, but can't.

I put 1 in for Qty., put my state in, and proceed to the next screen.

When I click 'Complete Order,' nothing happens. The button isn't working.

I'll try again later, or maybe even call, if it still won't work.

By the way, what happened to the Hawaii Live CD?

Ordered it on Wednesday, got it on Saturday. Great Album. Also got the promo "Hey Good Lookin"

I got mine in the mail on Saturday with the promo copy of Hey Good Lookin'. This album of Mac's is fantastic! I can't wait to see him live July 31 in Atlanta. We got our tix already!
