The Sun News has an article "Summer of Buffett". The article mentions Broadway at the Beach's Margaritaville Cafe has a tentative opening date of July 9. The article talks about the possibility of Jimmy performing at the grand opening.

Actually it says: "But cool your jets, Parrot Heads: Buffett will not perform at Margaritaville on opening day, Leonard said, but possibly a couple of weeks or months later.

There appears to be a window of opportunity from mid-July to late August. After Buffett's July 10 concert in East Troy, Wis., there are no more shows scheduled until an Aug. 26 date in Chicago"

So somewhere between the 11th and Aug 25th......

I wish they could set a more accurate date. I would love to attend, but if I don't know more then "OH he will be here sometime between now and 2010", then I may not be able to make it

That is great news that it will open this summer. Whenever we get a date for Jimmy's arrival please somebody post it so we can make it down. This is close to how I have always wanted to see Jimmy-ideal of course is in Key West for one of his surprise drop-ins at Margaritaville! We can hope that we'll get word on this one and be there to greet Jimmy!
