Parties around Fenway?

Post by shawnmov »

Was wondering if anybody has heard about any promos regarding parties around the Fenway area in September, in lieu of REAL tailgating. When Springsteen came last year, they had many, including a big pre-concert bash in the Monster seats.

the monster seat party is run by Jerry Remy who is the announcer for the red sox home games, there is also potential for parties at the new right field roof seats which include a barbaque and bar, as well as in the 406 club both of which prior to the concert, I will be attending the Tiki Room if i can get in and if not than Jillians right across the street from fenway, also one other option that came up that some of my friends were discussing was a harbor cruise before the show, Mass bay cruise lines offers reasonable prices but to charter a boat you need a minimum of about 100 people so if someone were to organize it we could have ourselves an amazing parrothead party, their website is http://www.massbaylines.com and inaddition to the cruise you have an option of a full open bar

I've emailed for a quote on this puppy...

... but it's been a few weeks, so I don't think it's gonna happen.
:(

It would make for a great rolling tailgate party!

I don't think there's been a party around Fenway since about 1918.

Dude your an idiot, last time I checked the Sox have a payroll well over 120 million, take your arguments about how much the yankees spend to a twins fan or an expos fan and see what they say, the sox could have arod but they didnt want to pay another 2 million to get him, they are worthless

Elrod, your joke was wonderful. Too bad, your sense of humor escapes some people.

Yeah...I'm from Boston...and I thought it was pretty good, too.

Here's a t-shirt of some local graffiti off of Storrow Drive:

Mama, I know most folks in Boston have a sense of humor. I have a cousin in Boston (but not in Miami) and she is wicked funny.

hope all of you enjoy Fenway.

that storrow drive sign used to warn drivers of a "reverse curve" before some ingenious person modified it with a Sox theme.

the shirts can be found at www.bambino-curse.com.

I'm a Red Sox fan, born and bred, but I can find the humor in Elrod's post. I'm also not gonna sit quietly while you, phansheridan, brand new to this board, sling this kind of crap at my friend (who, btw, has been posting here for a LONG time). If this is how you act, please shoo.....

unfortunately the new sign has not been "fixed" or "modified" if you will...I do hope that the legacy lives on...It had become such a local landmark...
