Can someone refresh my memory with the story of the origin of parrotheads? I heard the story years ago. my son asked me and i don't remember the story i wouldn't want to mislead the youngin'

Reputedly, when performing at Timberwolf Ampitheater in Kings Island, OH, Jimmy commented on all those crazy folks in the crowd from the Cincinnati area wearing hawaiian shirts and parrot hats and who keep coming back to every show. "Just like deadheads," Jimmy commented. Coral Reefer Timothy B. Schmit replied, "yea, Parrot Heads!"

Ahhh....Last time I went to Kings Isalnd with school...I dont like roller coasters, but I rode a few. The thing that REALLY caught my attention though was the Timberwolf Stage..Because Id heard that the FIN and Parrothead were invented there....I HAVE BEEN TO THE ORIGINS OF IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that more than anything else counts as a Historical Landmark

I can remember going to a Buffett show where audience members were admonished by the man himself for tossing an inflatable shark onstage. My, how times have changed...

I think the conversation also included her mentioned she was related to some Buffett's. Gonna have to break out the ol' videotape on that one.
