On the Today show did they say Buffett and Bruce Springsteen are playing at Fenway in September?? Or was I smoking dope when I thought I heard that???

He was referring to the Springsteen concert last year. Thus, the reference to playing after Springsteen.

ok i didn't know what the deal was. If they played together that would be wild. There's really no need for them to do that because they both still sell out their shows, it would only be a fluke type thing i guess. I guess i can stop making plans to fly to boston in september.

Matt made it sound like JB was opening for Bruce. JB told Matt the show sold out in 35 minutes. Matt is uninformed and despite what is right in his face, he doesn't get it.

Ok, I just listened to it again and he DOES say "second act following Bruce Springsteen". September 10 and 12th at Fenway. Just before the sold out in 25 minute comment. Uh, Matt, don't try. Bless his heart, he has no clue.

Matt Lauer: wasnt he the Bozo who quipped 'There seems to be something wrong with air traffic control today" after the 2nd plan hit the WTC? I remember hearing that and thinking "If it aint on the teleprompter, he should not be allowed to speak."

katie looked better in that short skirt and heels than the jeans she changed into...

I shutter to think at what idiotic thing I might have said if I would have been on the air live on national TV trying to discuss a tragedy of such proportions moments after it happened.

I'm not a Springsteen fan. I saw a quote in Life Magazine once from his high school vocal coach that said he sounded like "dying buffalo in heat". I don't think much has changed. Never been much for Tom Waits for that matter either. That being said, I am a Dylan fan, so go figure.

Am I the only one that thinks we need an option C, both of the above? (ok, maybe not all of us, but most)

Hey Coconuts, if Option C means a concert with both Burce and Bubba at the same time & place, I know I would sell my soul for a ticket. They are my two all-time favorites.
