Ya know...I'm not sure we've decided. I think we definitely want a few days to "do nothing" but we'll want to enjoy nite life as well. We're planning to be gone for 10 days and I'll bet that after 2-3 days we'll want some action.
Well this is just my $.02 but....
as far as the mainland Treasure Island area of Florida. a little laid back but a wonderful area. And there is a lot to do with in 2-4 hours away.

But if you want a little Island flair, Key Largo. We stayed @

Wow - so many choices! We spent a week in the Keya on our Honeymoon. Stayed in Islamorada - dove the reefs right offshore and then spent a couple of nights in KW. The water is beautiful, great fishing, diving (snorkeling), boating, bars and restaurants...The Virgin Islands are great too! Have you thought about a cruise? You can visit several islands during the week. Let us know what you decide!!!
