Who cares about cooking? Order out, learn to cook yourself, or hire a cook.

I must be taking too much time off, I can't believe I missed this. Congrats on the big jump.

I resigned 3 1/2 years ago but I hadn't even started to look for another job yet and the firm asked me to come back so it turned into a 3 week vacation instead.

Yesterday was officially one of the hardest days of my life. It was hard to leave such a great group of co-workers and friends. Those people are amazing. Do you know that they got me a freaking laptop computer for a going away gift? I was speechless. ME!! Speechless.

I start my new gig next Monday. I have a little trip to Norfolk, Virginia this weekend to meet up with some friends. I'll be golfing on Friday and beaching it on Saturday. Wooo-Hoooo!! 8)

I'll basically be an independently contracted field landman for an oil & gas company here in OKC... but lot's of travel may be involved... I have talked to a lot of people about this and I think it's going to be a really good thing for me! I have conferred with several people in the bidness, and they all think I'm goin to love it! I know I'll love the independence and the whole being my own boss bit... plus, with the contract gig I currently have lined up, I'll be making more money... we'll see!! If I hate it, then I guess it'll be that much easier for me to head to the mountains or the beach....

Thank you all for your well wishes!
Good for you T. Does this mean that San Diego could be graced by your humble shy presence this year? :D
