16 Jamaica Mistaka

Jimmy hasn't nailed those words for a very long time.

They shot from the lighthouse,
they shot from highway
They shot from the top of the cliff,
they had all gone haywire
We're catchin' fire,
and there wasn't even a spliff

We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't
be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in
town.

Well, we're back on the Charlotte track. Jamaica Mistaka instead of Scarlet Begonias (I'm guessing SB will be in place of CCoP, #23)

Just did a search on Yahoo. This might be the Spliff Link

Go with the flow reggae music mix. Traditionally the program begins with the Bob Marley Roadblock, a live recording of Marley music because you know anywhere you went to see B.M. there was going to be a roadblock.

About Spliff

Reggae music is life to this talented spinmaster. Since the late 80’s, Spliff has been sharing his “go with the flow” reggae music mix with KPFA listeners. Spliff, along with DJ Doug Wendt, picked up the torch after the departure of Tony Moses, host of the longtime “Reggae Experience.” Renown on the club scene as a DJ and MC, he began at KPJC and has cruised the airwaves of KKUP and KZSU.
