The Official "Jimmy Buffett on Sirius 97" Thread!

Sirius 97, aka Vacation, debuted today, and I've broken off all the buttons on my receiver as I'll never need to change stations again.
Now, the question is: how much Buffett will we get? I'm guessing one song every two hours. But here's the more important question:
What songs are they going to play?
I have a sneaking suspicion that they've only got Meet Me in Margaritaville or (less likely) the Box Set...although I suspect they'll add LTC (Classic Vinyl plays "Real Good Lookin' Boy" and "Old Red Wine" just as often as they play other Who songs, and the reason is because they're new). Since I only listen when driving, I can't listen non-stop, so I thought it'd be a great idea for us Sirius listeners to keep track of the JB we hear.
So far I've heard "Fins" (~7:15AM EDT) and "Havana Daydreamin'" (~12:45PM EDT) on 7/7/04
On a personal note, I heard the Big Kahuna's "Old Hawaiian Way" and I'm hooked--unfortunately, it's on the Lilo and Stitch album, but I think I'll try to finagle something via mp3 ... hint hint
EDIT: Had the end quote in the wrong spot

I try to work out of my house most of the time during the summers and Dish Network has SIRIUS for Top 120 customers or better so I thought I'd give it a listen.
It has been on all day. Surprised with the amount of Jimmy I heard. Old and new. So far it seems like a good mix of music, could have done without the Macarena tho.
Think I might have to get the tuner for the car.

That seems nice and all and I will have satellite radio soon myself but if all I want to hear is Jimmy Buffett music I can hear that anytime I want by plugging in a CD, cassette or by ploppin' some vinyl on the turntable.

I think all
ChrTh was trying to say in his original post was that there is a new channel on SIRIUS that includes music from Jimmy and was wondering how much was being included.
From the SIRIUS website: A mix of Tropical, Calypso, Reggae, Hawaiian and island vacation music.
Escape to Vacation! Hear your favorites from the sands of the beach or the deck of the pool. Unwind to the continuous sounds of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, The Beach Boys, Hawaiian music and the great sounds of reggae and calypso. It’s paradise by the dashboard light!
Artists:Bob Marley and the Wailers, Jimmy Buffett, Beach Boys, Don Ho, Harry Belafonte, UB40 and many more.
I'm sure everyone that just wanted to hear "only Jimmy" would put one of his albums on.
Also, at 5:40 CST they played "Everybody's Got A Cousin In Miami"

Yeah, Everybody's Got a Cousin in Miami was on, so I guess they do have more than just MMiM or BBBB. Excellent news.
Little disappointed about Red Red Wine, but believe it or not, I had to crank up Ricky Martin's La Vida Loca (Spanish Version)
And yeah, I wasn't expecting JB 24/7 ... although

and as far as the vacation music station goes, thank you ChrTh for letting me know about it!!!!! I've been listening for a half hour now and haven't heard Jimmy Buffett yet but I've loved every song I've heard so far and I've never heard 1/2 of them before!!! cool station

I guess I haven't kept Tropical Breeze on long enough, I haven't heard Jimmy on that one yet.

Same here. The reggae station (979) is pretty good to listen to as well.

7/8 update:
Heard WDWGD and CiP this morning while driving to the airport. Really surprised about WDWGD, gives me hope that they won't be a safe station (hearing Ganja prob confirms that

I've got XM. (Got it for Tony K and ESPN radio)

Oh well, I guess that's what my ipod is for.

Just went on the website to try it out and as soon as I logged on to the Vacation Channel somebody was signing about everybody having a cousin in Miami. Don't know who it was but I guess I may have to sign up for Sirius. Just as I finished typing this I lost the vacation channel. I can get every other channel but that one says it is playing but no sound. Not good.

Hey Boom -- do you still get Tony K or do you get Colin Cowherd? I like Colin and his football everyday... but I want to make sure I can still get him. I had been leaning toward XM, but with Sirius' newer programming and now the NFL, I'm closer to Sirius...

plus, remeber, SIrius gives you a free password for their website so someone can be on the road and another at home or office and listen too- no extra charge! I think that's sweet! plus with the new Vacation channel playing tons of Buffett it's fantastic- only on Sirius Satellite Radio.

I just switched to Vacations channel and La Cucaracha is playing. And I'm eating lunch. But I've heard a LOT of Jimmy on the 945 Tropical breezes channel! Let's listen on 97 and see what's next......Walking on Sunshine by Katrina & the Waves. Great. yuk.

Not sure if any of you have Yahoo Launchcast... it is an online radio station that let's you create your own station for free and they also have genres. The Launchcast Plus is $2.99/month -- adds a ton more channels.
There is a vacation channel on Launchcast that is great too. It is only steaming, but much less of an investment than Sirius or XM. (even though I am getting Sirius next week...)
