They Call Me Mello Yello

Post by buffettbride »

I'm sittin' here sippin' my Mello Yello. Normally I'm a Pepsi girl but I'm feelin' feisty today so I stepped it up a bit. I know Mello Yello is essentially Mountain Dew...so I'm lookin' for some yummy potent potables to make with Mello Yello tonite. Anyone, anyone?

The last time I did Tequila Shooters I used Mello Yello. It was pretty good, I think. (since I did 18 of 'em that night I can't really be sure)

I always find Mello yello when I go visit family in Chicago. I know it's really hard to find out here in Southern Cal. if at all. Mello Yello is alot lime-r tasting than Mt. Dew. While very similiar in taste, there is a big difference to us coniseurs. Anyway, pick up some 99 Apples or Midori to mix with it. Or you can go with my favorite, Jack Daniels!

Bottoms up :D

I AGREE! Gin is verrrry good in Mello Yello! Lastplaneout, you are one of those 'dewheads' aren't you? My sister-in-law is a dewhead, she's seriously addicted to them.....they are very addictive, what do they put in Mountain Dew that makes them that way?

We used to do shots of Everclear and chase it with Mt. Dew. I would guess that Mello Yello would work too. I guess it is true, you do stupid stuff when you are young.
