Yes, Tiki made it on M-vision. Jkortum's crew made it up during crowd shots due to their slightly better than average (FIRST ROW) seats.

Hop over to the Alpine thread as pictures are making their way (page 206+).

DAMN, Gumby! That sucks! I was able to find you and your pals only because of that flag.
I guess you even find a-holes at Buffett concerts. Maybe if somebody gave their faces a much needed bashing, they'd change their ways.

On a happier note-I met Doyle Grisham and T.C. Mitchell during the pre-concert gig by the Boat Drunks just inside the main gate.
I found both of them to be wonderful men, and very friendly and congenial to me and the other fans.
Thanks Doyle and Tom. :D

I hear you!!! We bring a fridge and generator every year and this was the first year someone screwed with it during the show! Dumped the whole thing on its side. Only bad incident though, great time otherwise

Definitely another great show!!! Now just gotta wait til next year :(

We also had some problems in the parking lot during the show. Someone stole all our flags that we had flying and smeared a cake all over the front of the windshield of our van.

Wow. I've never heard of anything like this happening at an Alpine Buffett show. From the sounds of what happened to everyone, it looks like there are some common threads. Sounds to me like one group of drunken idiots went rampaging through the lot during the show, stealing flags, and doing other minor damage. Unfortunate.

Curious, all the people with things stolen or vandelized, what lot were you in? (Rumfan, Coopster1, SirGumby)

Just as a general tip, I'd recommend always stashing any tailgating decorations or equipment you don't want stolen/damaged inside your vehicle before going into the show.

A few years back I had a giant plastic Captain Morgan bottle lashed to the front of my car and I remember thinking "No one will steal this...Parrotheads would never mess with someone else's decorations." I returned to my car after the show to find nothing but a couple bungies hanging sadly from my car's grille.

I realized then that the majority of folks at Buffett concerts are great folks, but as the saying goes "It only takes a few bad apples..."

We were in the Yellow lot.

I really don't blame the Parrotheads for any of the damage done. I suspect is was those few 'bad apples' that come to Alpine just for a place to get drunk and raise havok. They have no interest in Jimmy and no appreciation for the music. When all of the fans head in to see one of the best shows out there, they continue drinking and start causing trouble. We'll know better next year to be more careful on what we leave out.

Even all of that can't ruin the great memories that our whole crew has on a great day of tailgating and an even better show!!!

sounds like you guys had those same underage drinking, frat boy, brat mentallity idiots that we had in Atlanta on Saturdays when Buffett played here on Saturdays.

There's always some assholes at the concert, at Atlanta someone used the hood of my car as a playground, scratched like they used it as a sliding board. And to stop the slide they used my front PARROTHEAD license plate that was bent all the way over. Don't know if they tried to steal it or just stood on it and bent the bracket.

I agree, it is just the morons! We had a Karoake bar set up and a couple young girls came up wantying to sing "somethin other than Buffett, we're tired of Buffett" This was at only 3 PM!!! Obviously some people just don't get it!!

I think I would've had to confiscate their tickets and drinks for that.
