How many tracks on the cd doese Jimmy do by HIMSELF without any help from other artists??
We sailed from the port of indecision
Young and wild with oh so much to learn
Days turn into years as we tried to fool our fears, But to the port of indecision I returned.

7 out of 16 isn't bad at all. I was under the impression that the majority of the tracks that he performed on the cd were with other artists and hardly any by himself. Does this cd tend to be more country?, or the JB that hits that country chord in everyone while still striking up that Caribbean Soul that we can barely control at the same time!?

It has both types in it. I am really enjoying it. I can honestly say I have liked almost every song on it. Coast of Carolina is my favorite

I'm fascinated by our varied reactions to various songs. The favorites and the not-so-favorites vary SO widely (although most seem to like CoC).

Not a ding or a criticism, not meant to be sarcastic at all. I'm just happily surprised that Jimmy seems to have given everyone something to like and yet even in a group where our music tastes are at least similar (we all like JB), there are variances in our favorites on this CD. :D

Coast of Carolina is my favorite, so far, but that may well change.

Scarlet Begonias... welllll..... not really... (though I did like Jimmy's cover of Uncle John's Band way back when) :D

Just picked it up at lunch and have listened to the first 10 songs and I give it a 7 so far. Would like a little bit more of a the tropical theme thrown in but I was not expecting much with this album.

Got LTC at lunch today! :D Like the little poster too!
Sitting here at work listening to it. I like it, sure makes the afternoon at work go by a lot easier! For me it's like a lot of Buffett CD's, there area few songs I like right away;
Coast of Carolina-liked that one the first time he played it in Indy and couldn't wait to hear the studio version.
Anything, Anytime, Anywhere - I like it.
Scarlet Begonias

And there will be songs that grow on me as I wear it out playing it and playing it from now until?????? That's the way it was for me at least on FSOTW. But overall you can't go wrong with a Jimmy CD!

I will probobly catch hell... but I ALREADY like this CD beter then FSOTW.

And what does it for me is this CD kinda mixes my 2 favorite bands/artists.

With Bill Payne playing keyboard on alot of the tunes and with Sonny Londreth playing guitar. This CD sounds kinda like Jimmy Little Buffett Feat music.

I agree with 12vmanRick; not a big fan of Simply Complicated. For some reason this reminds me of FSOTW Hokey Pokey song. Trying to much to have a catchy song.

Simply Complicated is the token trash song... he does one on every CD.
