In honof or Jersey Girls everywhere

Post by OceanCityGirl »

I think I'm going to start bringing back big hair. Today I think I'll go buy a jumbo can of aquanet. I was just watching vh1 classics and I don't care what anybody thinks. I loved it when big hair was king.

Remember spending hours doing your hair and makeup. Then you would put on really uncomfortable heels, etc. Girls today don't know what they're missing.

Please don't. We already lived through the era of "mall chick hair" once, let's not do it again. Oh, the humanity.

Next thing you know we'll be flip-flopping down the halls sprayin' our hair. I think you'd end up in an institution!

Hate to say it, but been there, done that, don't wanna go back again. I LIKE my easy, short hair, and comfortable shoes. I LIKE that I no longer have gigantic hoop earrings that bounce off my cheeks. One thing I DO miss about that time period is stirrup pants and big man-tailored shirts to wear over them. Sigh. I feel old.

Oh man I loved stirrup pants and legwarmers. And how many different colors of Candies did you have. And did you ever wear them with lace ankle socks.

Ya know it's not only girls who have some iffy fashions. I watched the apprentice and boy Donald Trump sure drove me wild with that combover he had happening there. It's one reason to be richer then everyone else around you. They all tell you that you look great.

I remember running my fingers through a gf's hair and the paramedics had to bring the "jaws of life" to extract my hand.

I was dating a girl who's entire group of friends were Benatar wannabe's

That's the thing. We girls looked hot with our big hair. I don't think there's too many girls saying that we want more mullets in this world.
But BonJovi could pull off the best big hair.

I knew there was something just WRONG in the world when Jon Bon Jovi had prettier hair than I did! :o

I think if you asked most guys, a girl who wakes up and looks as good as when she (or we) went to bed is much more preferable to one that scares the bajeebers out of you and then needs an hour and a half in the bathroom to "be presentable"

Ahhh, the '80's. It used to take me almost two hours and a good part of a jumbo can of aquanet to turn my naturally flat-as-a-pancake straight hair into a poofy Jersey-style monstrosity. My hair required a building permit. Ironically, all my best pictures were taken while sporting big hair.

Forget the big hair, just get out those FMPs.

Is it just me or does Trump always look llike he's smelling something bad?

I think that guy from Flock of Seagulls was a mechanical engineer. That's the only way he could have gotten his hair to stay like that, he probably had I-beams and bolts and everything in there.
