Saw 2 reefers tonight...

Post by DTinPA »

OK; sort of. I saw Lyle Lovett tonight in Willmington, DE, and Russ Kunkel and Stuart Duncan were both in his band. Kunkel has played drums on most of Lyle's albums, but this is the first time I've ever seen him on the road with him.

Stuart Duncan played fiddle on LTC and FSOTW, and he's one of the best out there.

And it's impossible to overstate how great of a show Lyle puts on.

I really like to see Lyle live when he plays with his "large band." Incredible talent and pure pleasure!

My friend just saw Lyle Lovett with Guy Clark, Joe Ely, and John Hiatt in concert together.
