Not really...just gives you more options when it comes to tabbed browsing. really not that big a deal. It's a bit fatser and a little more stable....OK I just justified that is ids better. so "It's better"

I highly suggest formatting the drive and reloading everything from scratch. Then use the Mozilla and other things that stop that stuff. Because no matter what you do NOW except formatting you will not ever truly get rid of all that crap that is installed.

For really bad stuff, 2 other porgrams can be used - hijackthis, which helps remove Browser Helper Objects (BHO's) which can hijack your browsers start and search pages (it's kind of confusing to use but you can PM me if you have any questions) and CWShredder which will find and remove all traces of the CoolWebSearch (CWS) hijacker on your system.

A last resort technique is to search all files to see which have been created since__ (when you 1st started having problems)
Look at those file names, plug them into google & read if they are system files or bad files (virus, spyware, adware, etc ) & there will be intricate methods for removal found by doing this search.
I have a blog for spyware, adware, etc since I fight this stuff at work allot:
