has anyone here ever been to one their concerts this year? For those of you who dont know, they are touring together but its quite pricy, starting at $52.50. To the people who have seen either of them, or them together, are they good live, and do you think its worth the price for the both of them?

That amount dosn't sound too expensive for 2 performers if you like them. Of course expect to hear from people with negative reactions.....

I caught the show in Duluth, GA. It depends who you want to see. I went to see Alan as I have never been that big a fan of Martina. Martina played for over 2 hours, including encores before Alan ever took the stage. By that time, I was just tired of hearing songs whine about lost men, babies, and dreams.

Alan isn't much of a "stage performer". He pretty much just stands there playing his guitar and singing. His videos and local video just plays behind him. I enjoyed his music, but wondered why I paid so much for floor seats that were further away than some "lower level" seats.

if they both play full sets than it sounds like a good deal . . . . does the price cover both performers?

I did not go to the show he did in Baltimore but all the reviews I heard about it said that it lasted about 4 hours. I think I would be bored to death by then.

Yes, it covers both performers, plus the Atlanta show had an opening act. And yes JollyMon, I was bored to death by the time Alan took the stage.

Had I known Martina was going to play for so long, I would have come later. She has a great voice, I'm just not a fan of her song selection. too depressing even for country music.

The ticket prices for the shows here in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun were really expensive, $110 for the best seats, I wouldn't pay that much to see that show, although I've seen both of them live, and they are both really good.
