Does anyone know if there are any BN'ers amongst the photos in the "Jimmy Dot Com" book? I was flipping through it recently and wondered if anyone here has a photo of himself/herself that got selected for it.

I'm not sure if I made the pages or not..........

I met Jackson several times that year. The first time we met a phriend of mine and I almost got into a fight with him. We were at the Mac show in Naw'lins at the HOB. We were yellin' for Mac to play Changing Channels.(something that he had not played the previous 3 time we had saw him but he started to play it quite frequently afterwards) We all had been drinking a lot and Jackson took offence to our request thinking we were just Buffett fans wanting to only hear songs that Bubba covered and we weren't there to hear Mac's songs. Anyway cooler heads prevailed and we bought each other drinks and he told us that he had it on good authority that Mac was heading down to M'ville to play with the other Reefers right after his HOB show. So, we all left a couple songs early from the HOB and we were the last people that they let into M'ville. It was a crazy night that lasted way toooo long and we had the Buffett concert to look forward to the next night.

Well.... that all said Jackson e-mailed me later about the story and that he was thinking about putting it in the book and wanted to get the facts straight. I don't know if he ever did and I've been meaning to buy the book since it came out but just haven't got around to it.

Anyways.... that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.... :D

I don't recall reading anything like that, but then again, there's almost no text in the book (mostly photos with a few pages of written stuff here and there). Great story, though.

Anyway, I'm glad there wasn't any bloodshed and everyone ended up getting along OK. Jackson seems like a nice guy, and I always wonder if he's still going to multiple concerts. He hasn't updated his website in a long time, so I don't know if he ever got going with that second book he was mentioning doing.

Last I heard (and this from like, a year ago, maybe) he was looking for some funding for a second book.

I love his book and wish he'd do another.
I met him in Margaritville Orlando and he was really cool.
His brother is Terry of the nationally syndicated radio morning show
Lex & Terry.
He used to call them up and talk about Buffett but I have not heard him on there in a while.
