High School Friend to Heather

[bHello I am trying to get in touch with Heather-Reeferette. We went to school together and graduated together. Just wanted to say I am proud of her and thanks for the friendship when we were in school. Cheerleaders did not hang out with Rednecks but she accepted me for myself and her kind words have helped over the years when I am down. I have tried to track her over the years and stay in touch and recently I saw a video and about fell out of my chair. I am so happy for her. Would love to talk if you ever get a chance to sit still.[/b]

I wasn't ignoring you, I just hadn't checked this thread for a couple of days.

The Saturday of MOTM they have a charity auction at the Casa Marina. It's mostly Buffett memorabilia but last year one of the items up for bid was dinner at Margaritaville with Heather. I had the winning bid. After we finished dinner and were getting ready to leave the restaurant I was expecting something like "Thanks, I had a good time. Good night." Instead she said "If you already made plans for tonight I'll understand but do you want to hang out?"

And Des is right, Heather is REALLY nice. I felt like I was hanging out with an old friend.

Even if my ex-wife had been along I would've just turned to her (My ex that is) and said...
