I agree...I don't think I've ever taken a shot over 50 yards. In fact, my favorite types of hunting (archery, flintlock, spring gobbler seasons) all require quite a bit of stealth and the ability to get the animal in very close before even attempting a shot.aquaholic wrote:Hunting is very important for conservation, heard control,etc.............but shooting something from 3oo yards with a 30-06, or whatever does not seem like much of a sport for the object in the crosshairs.........not being critical...jus my take
If I want to take the sport out of it, and simply put meat in the freezer, I'll get one with the front bumper of my truck...don't need a license for that.

We'll see how you feel after we break the consecutive win record against the Dolphins in Foxboro on Oct. 10. Funny how the NFL schedule works, huh?

Obviously you guys don't hunt with my brothers-in-law. Stay out of the woods north of Bethel, Maine. Well, they rarely make it out of camp, so maybe it is safe after all. To them it's not deer camp, it's beer camp.tommcat327 wrote:WFSrednekkPH wrote:90% of my hunting is not done in orange, and none of it is done drunk.SuperTrooper wrote:No more rediculous than a bunch of drunks, dressed in ORANGE, sitting in trees.rednekkPH wrote:Y'all have alot of nerve hijacking this thread with something as rediculous as a bunch of drug addicts in tight pants chasing a silly ball.
