They make you put antlers on your rifles?rednekkPH wrote:I go for deer with rifle, bow and flintlock. I love Spring turkey season. I do a bit of pheasant hunting also. Have gone for bear a few times, but never saw one that I'd shoot (I have a major problem with guys who go out and "bag" a 70-pound cub). The PA Game Commission has changed the bear season this year to make it concurrent with our 2-week antlered rifle season. I don't think it was a good move - I'm afraid it will thin the population out too much.
Why don't you put on this deerskin coverall and find outSuperTrooper wrote:They make you put antlers on your rifles?![]()

I AGREE ON THE BEAR ISSUE.THERE ARE PLACES ALL OVER UP NORTH THAT PUT SOME A$$HOLE UP IN A SATAND DIRECTLY OVER A PILE OF DONUTS SO YOU CAN SHOOT A SUB 100 POUND BLACK BEAR.THAT AINT HUNTIN.rednekkPH wrote:I go for deer with rifle, bow and flintlock. I'm with Aqua... Not that I have a problem with hunting animals for sport; I have a problem with waking up that early and sitting still all day.aquaholic wrote:I prefer BEAVER hunting
So I guess you are opposed to fishing with dynamite as well, huh?aquaholic wrote:Hunting is very important for conservation, heard control,etc.............but shooting something from 3oo yards with a 30-06, or whatever does not seem like much of a sport for the object in the crosshairs.........not being critical...jus my take
