Caribbean Soul

Post by LOVEandLUCK »

In an earlier post i had said that CS shirts were around 20 dollars. What i meant was i have gotten Caribbean soul shirts for under 20 dollars (16.95). If anybody has a store named Kane and Hawkins near them they have Caribbean Soul Shirts. That is where my collection comes from. Well, there and the Salvation Army. The shirts that are at Kane and Hawkins I have only seen at that store. :D :pirate:

CS only sells to select shops. On the Oregon Coast for instance you can find there shirts at El Mundos for Men in Cannon Beach and Seaside.

I know there's a shop somewhere in Seattle but haven't the slightest Idea the name of it or where it is.

jungle drum gallery, which is on captiva island in florida, is one of the main places the artist that makes the shirts is out of. he is there regulary and they have alot of different cs merchandise. i was there on tuesday and i was wondering if jimmy still has any connection with them. in the past there where shirts and other things that had a jimmy theme with the artwork and names of the shirts such as: why dont we get drunk, changes in...., while i was there there wasnt anything that had a jimmy buffett song associated with them. so does anyone know if jimmy is still associated with caribbean soul?

I was told by someone that has a tropical store and sells CS that Jimmy took all the "song" shirts away from the other stores.
He will only sell them at the Margaritaville stores.

I know in Jacksonville FLA, J C Penney's sells them. That's where most of ours came from. That, and the Buffettesque place on St. George street in St. Augustine. Oh yeah, and Coconut Telegraph. We have tons. My keet has select ones he can wear to school. My favorite is the 20th Birthday Celebration one I got on my last visit to Jax.

At their web site www.caribbeansoul.com you can order the shirts direct from them. They also list stores that carry their shirts and request you visit these stores first and buy them there if they have them.

As far as the Buffett song lyric shirts they are no longer being produced and have not been for the last year or so. I'm sure there were plenty already made and I would imagine there are still many of them out there in storage.
