Wait I'll answer that Sweet BBBBBBB was very nice when I met her.
I don't think BOR is being angry, just realistic. Steelers before yesterday have beaten the Raiders, Fins

Bengals, Browns and Cowboys combined record 11-25

. Lets hold off on any comparisons.
And I will maintain my assertion that Ben is an incredible talent and he will be considered to be one of the NFL's top 10 quarterbacks by the end of the season. I believe the Steelers will make it to the playoffs
with Ben as starting QB, not Maddox, and
because of Ben being starting QB.
He really is
that good. Wait and see................

No but 2 Super Bowls in 3 years does

I'm not the one saying that they got beat by an
unimpressive rookie quarterback
The Patriots did not get beat by Ben Roth-----berger they got beat by the Steelers Defense, they caused 4 turnovers one they ran back for a TD, 2 put the ball inside the Patriots 20. Lets revisit this in Jan. and see who was right!
ok, you've got a deal

The biggest reason the Patriots lost...is the the Patriots. You cannot turn the ball over 4 times in the NFL and win. Especially when short key playes as the Patriots were. The Steelers did a great job of taking advantage of the mistakes....something the Patriots did wonderfully for 21 consecutive games.

That quite possibly could be the easiest bet to take ever!!!

Big Ben has a QB rating of 104.1.
Only Brees, Culpepper, and Manning are higher among QB's with at least 3 starts.
Unimpressive, you say?

Sorry. I think it'll be 86 years before they win another Super Bowl, though...

Ben Roth----berger = Flavor of the month!
At best his career will be equal to Drew Bledsoe's.........
Remember Pitt it wasn't to long ago you all were singing the praise of Kordell Stewart and Tommy Turnover!

Ben has the fundemental skills to become one of the better QBs in the NFL. Before the draft I thought he was better that the other 2 "names", but NFL teams refused to listen.

Anyway, he makes sound decisions, and seems to have his head on straight. Kind of like one of my other favorites at the position. (From the team that Ben faced on Sunday)

Have you ever watched this kid play? He sees the field as well as anyone, he's intelligent, and he has physical skills.
I'm not putting him in the Hall Of Fame or anything, but this kid is going to be a very, very good NFL QB.

That's what they said about Brett Favre back in 1993.
Ben is way ahead of Favre at this point (but won't ever be as good Favre at his peak)

you are right, no one player ever wins the game, it is the team effort and the Steelers are playing well on offense, defense and special teams and Ben is a big part of it

How many people, outside of Patriots fans and Univ. of Michigan alumni, knew who Tom Brady was 3 years ago? A lot of people were probably calling him the flavor of the month too when he took over after Bledsoe was injured.

And Partriots fans should thank the Jets because it was Mo Lewis who knocked Bledsoe out of the game.

Nobody is saying that he doesn't have the potential to be a great QB (actually BOR is but he is a Pats fan so what does he know) I'm just saying that every year there is some quarterback that comes out and plays some good games against mediocre teams and all of a sudden the Marino/Montanna comparisons pop up

It's just silly to me.

And I can see someone who is not familiar with Ben saying that. It's understandible because there have been many NFL QB "flashes in the pan". If you only watched him for the first time this weekend, you might think so appropriately. But after you watch him a couple more times, you'll see for yourself. He's for real. He's no Marino or Montana... he will have his very own reputation and recognition soon enough.

It must really s*** to be Peyton Manning and have the best game of you career, and still lose by 10! 460+ yards passing, and 5 TD's, and still get walked on by the CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
