Let's see...
Patriots at St. Louis.
Pat's without 3 starting cornerbacks, against "The Greatest Show on Turf".
Troy Brown as Nickel Back.
Patriots 40
Rams 22
Anybody else need proof that
defense wins in the NFL?
BTW... Nice pass Adam!

WOW...The Chargers get to the bye at 6-3 and haviing scored the most points in the NFL. LT has had a bum groiin mussell for the last 4 weeks and we are still kickiing a$$. Drew Brees is putting up a MVP type of season. LT will be back full healthy for the Raida's in 2 weeks. Along with Antionio Gates and Keenan McCardell...look out.
GO BOLTS!

I just heard Dave Wannstadt resigned at Dolphins coach. I guess a 1-8 record will do that to you.

Damn! I was hoping he'd wait until after the Broncos played them.

I really think Wannscrap is a good coach, just not a good head coach. I feel bad for the guy, cuz he was screwed from the git go. However, I thought they should of gotten rid of him a long time ago. His sickening allegiance to Jay Fiedler killed this team. I agree a team can win based on defense and a strong run game, but you have to have a QB that can throw the ball down field with some accuracy to keep defenses honest. Let the turnaround begin. I can't wait til next year. I'm thinking Drew Brees in teal and orange. Like he should have been when he was in the draft.

In past years the bye week was a time to breathe easy and realize that we won't lose that week....but this year....I WANNA WATCH MY BOLTS PLAY!

WTH!?!? Are there only Steelers fans on this board!?!?
Big win for the Bears defense!
These guys aren't
Monsters of the Midway yet, but they are good!!!
Who needs a quarterback, when you have a
D like the Bears!

I typically talk all sorts of smack during the NFL season but my team is the Miami Dolphins and well...

It worked one year for the Ravens!

Bears have been great the last few weeks. With GB taking care of Minnesota yesterday...it should be a great race to the end in the NFC Norris division.
Shout out to my
Rams , who completed the season sweep of the Seahawks!

I feel the same way...I just wish he was still running the defense in St. Louis

. But, you can't fault the guy for leaving. He finally got his well deserved shot at a head coaching spot...and he's making the most of it

How about those Giants? They lose 3 out of 4 after starting the season 4-1 and Kurt Warner gets sacked 24 times in those 4 games. Looks like the Eli Manning era is about to start.

His attitude, demeanor, and character are just awesome. He really has the Bears believing in him and his system. He's gonna be a player's coach, but he's not going to be a pushover or take any crap.
